HOW'S THE WEATHER TODAY?

In my first post I talked about the routines that we work with children on the class. The next step after singing the "hello song" or "The good morning song" is to introduce vocabulary related with emotions, days of the week or the weather.

In this post I am going to talk about how to work the weather with kindergarten children or primary school children.

I try to combine songs, videos and material like weather wheels during the week. Each day of the week you can use one and then children won't get bored.

I have this one, but you can find lots if you look for on Pinterest.

Using the wheel children can touch it and move the arrow. First classes I move the arrow and ask them How's the weather today? Or  How is the weather like today?

When they already know the vocabulary. I give it to them. Now, they can ask their partners by themselves.
